You do need to test. The good news? Tests are available. Since the pandemic, we now have tests that cover all the most common viral and bacterial respiratory infections, making it easy to test for all with one swab. Determining your exact illness through testing also helps decide on the best course of treatment. We have specific treatments for influenza (Tamiflu, Xofluza), COVID (Paxlovid), 'walking pneumonia' (azithromycin), and other infections, and testing helps guide that treatment... The COVID variant called XEC making headlines in 2024 was spotted around the world and in half of states across the United States last month, but a spokesperson for the CDC said the agency is not aware of any specific symptoms associated with XEC or any other co-circulating SARS-CoV-2 lineage. Earlier this month, the Food and Drug Administration authorized the Healgen Scientific's Rapid Check COVID-19/Flu A & B Antigen Test for home use without a prescription, which makes it easier for people to simultaneously test themselves for COVID-19 and the flu on their own. This is helpful because some of the symptoms are the same, the CDC reiterates, meaning you cannot tell the difference between flu and COVID-19 by symptoms alone.

The signs and symptoms of a cold usually peak within 2 to 3 days of infection. Colds and flu aren't the only illnesses to be aware of this season. Walking pneumonia, RSV and whooping cough, for example, are on the rise among young kids. The number of 2 to 4-year-olds diagnosed after visiting the ER for pneumonia related illnesses has jumped from 1% to 7% in the last months, according to the CDC. Walking pneumonia, known scientifically as mycoplasma pneumonia, is a kind of bacterial pneumonia that includes symptoms such as sore throat, chest pain and fever in younger kids. Whooping cough is also up among school-aged kids, with about four times as many cases this year compared to last year. The illness is especially dangerous for infants and young kids because of their small airways, CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr Jon LaPook recently explained on "CBS Mornings Plus". He said the reason why it's called whooping cough -- it's a cough, cough, cough, cough, and then they gasp for air, that's the whoop. As an adult, when you get it, you may be sick, but probably going to be OK in terms of moving air in and out of your body. With infants, airways are so small that they can really have trouble breathing at all. RSV, or respiratory syncytial virus, affects the upper respiratory system with a runny or stuffy nose as well as a cough or sore throat. When the virus moves to the lower airways into the bronchi or the lungs, pneumonia or bronchitis can develop, which can be more dangerous. There is no at-home RSV test available, but a pediatrician can test children through a nasal swab.

Gretzky highlighted the importance of the vaccine for older adults noting that an Arexvy shot can help against lower lung disease caused by Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). Rumours took hold in March 2020 when Bill Gates said in an interview that 'eventually we will have some digital certificates' which would be used to show who'd recovered, been tested and ultimately who received a vaccine. He made no mention of microchips. That response led to one widely shared BBC article, under the headline "Bill Gates will use microchip inplants to fight coronavirus".

It has now been over a year since our COVID-19 Microchip World Domination Campaign began, and this progress report from our executive -- all hail Lord Gates! -- has been undertaken to monitor the campaign's effectiveness in a number of areas, including mind control, DNA harvesting and zombie-fication. The campaign has so far produced mixed results. While showing heartening gains in fearmongering and online trolling, more concrete objectives remain as yet unrealized. The executive would remind you that if these goals continue to be unmet, staff members face possible reassignment to other areas, such as the Deep-State Cannibal Pedophiles Project or the Illuminati desk. Let's review our progress so far:

1. Dispersal rates of the COVID-19 microchip vaccine among the "sheeple" were encouragingly high in the initial stages of the campaign... The politburo of the People's Republic of China showed its great relief and appreciation by making an extremely generous donation to us for deflecting scrutiny away from the Wuhan Institute of Virology... Sadly, however, vaccination rates have since stalled, especially among conservatives, whose sense of self-entitlement has made them immune -- no pun intended -- to our efforts. On the other hand, it also made them immune to the well-being of others, who felt the need to be vaccinated so as to be protected from -- to use the most popular terminology -- "idiots". So, win some, lose some, as they say. Unfortunately, our earlier work in the extremely successful Vaccine Causes Autism campaign has worked against our efforts by increasing resistance to vaccinations overall... In the future, we must be cognizant of that and plan for these divergent goals. World domination won't just happen all by itself: Only we can make it happen. So let's start acting like The Masters of the Universe that we all aspire to be!

2. There have been disturbing reports of malfunctions among some microchips once they have been injected... Again, staff, we remind you: It is not the purpose of the campaign to kill people. It is the purpose of the campaign to turn people into our puppets. After an internal review, the executive determined that these malfunctions were the result of a systemic failure. The supplier was selected on the basis of the lowest bid, which, in hindsight, predictably resulted in uneven quality. For future campaigns, we have decided to buy domestic, where quality control can be more easily maintained, rather than from overseas suppliers whose workforce consists of slave labour. In the meantime, when malfunctions do come to the attention of staff, they should contact Dave in the IT department, who will help guide staff through the troubleshooting process... The fact that not everyone in the world is as computer literate as he is does not make them "sad excuses for human beings"...

3. On a happier note, we would like to applaud the efforts of our clandestine operatives in the health field. For their tireless efforts in selling to the public the efficacy and safety of the vaccine, we extend our thanks to them, not to mention the generous year-end bonuses for services rendered!

4. Finally, as the COVID-19 Microchip Campaign has run its course over the past year, it has come to the attention of the executive that some staff members have come to question the campaign's purpose itself. There have been questions like: ***Why do we want to achieve world domination? ***If the vast majority of people can't even tell you their bank account password or remember that their reading glasses are resting on top of their head, why would we expect them to obey the dictates of an all-powerful overlord? ***If governments can't get people to stop doing things that cause climate change or convince them not to use the express checkout lane when clearly there are more than 8 articles in their shopping cart, wouldn't achieving world domination be an exercise in futility, like trying to bring order to a teenager's bedroom?

There have also been questions the executive considers of a more disturbingly personal nature. These include: ***What kind of person intent on world domination would construct a needlessly elaborate plan that involves the injection of teeny-weeny microchips into everyone's bloodstreams, rather than just, you know, doing something more conventional, like threatening to blow everybody up with A-bombs? ***Wouldn't that person have to be a little weird, and wouldn't their hunger for world domination be symptomatic of having to compensate for -- how to put this delicately -- a personal shortcoming? The executive would be happy to address these questions, especially the last one, and staff members are welcome to come up to the executive suite at any time, where they can receive not just a briefing about the campaign's objectives, but a mandatory vaccination.
