You could try getting in touch with Orwell's adopted son, Richard Blair, who is patron and founding member of THE ORWELL SOCIETY.

Their website address is www.orwellsociety.com but it no longer connects -- it seems the domain name has expired and hasn't been renewed.

Hopefully it will be up and running again soon and they can advise you on copyright for your ANIMAL FARM project.
