Danke Schon for letting me know that the link to the GERMAN HISTORICAL MUSEUM has been changed and with it the article about THE STORY OF THE BERLIN WALL. I've made the correction on all the "Orwell Today" pages where it's linked.

I lived and worked in Germany for a year or so back in the early 70s - prior to travelling overland through Europe and part of Asia to Australia - and have been very interested in studying German history over the years - as was JFK whose mother spoke fluent German and was no doubt proud of him for speaking German that day when he said "Ich bin ein Berliner".
