I'm having a hard time understanding the concept of doublethink and how it is used in today's society. Could you please help me with an example?

Basically "doublethink" means saying one thing and doing its exact opposite and lying with a straight face while saying it.

I'm sure, if you think about it, you'll be able to come up with present-day examples of "doublethink".
