To Orwell Today,
re: CHINA DEAL NOT BENEFICIAL
Good Evening,
I recently read an article on your website titled "China Deal Not Beneficial." I am trying to locate a political scientist or economist in Canada who believes that Chinese interest in Alberta's oilsands is not as good as it sounds. Might you have any suggestions about who my writer could interview? I am working on a tight deadline and need a suggestion by the end of Friday, May 6.
Thanks,
Tracy
Greetings Tracy,
I suggest you phone the University of Alberta and interview professors in those two faculties, ie Political Science and Economics.
Ask them to focus on the negative implications for North America in allowing CHINA'S FOOT IN TARSANDS DOOR in light of the recent news stories about CHINA SPYING ON CANADA & USA.
They should be able to come up with a list of "ungoods" a mile long. Afterall, it isn't rocket science.
All the best,
Jackie Jura
PS - If they have read "1984" ask them if they know what "Oligarchical Collectivism" means
To Orwell Today,
Thanks for the offer, I did find someone. Love your website.
Thanks
Tracy
Greetings Tracy,
I'd be interested in seeing the article that results from the interview with whomever you found. So far the mainstream press has done nothing but gush about Communist China buying into our natural resources. Canadians don't know what Communism is and have been told that China is "our friend" and it's all about free trade. Actually, that's Orwellian for "slave" trade.
All the best,
Jackie Jura
