WHOLE WORLD IN THEIR HANDS?
The picture that was on the front page of many of the world's newspapers last week [Feb 2007] is too symbolic to ignore. It showed one of the promoters of the junk-science "Kyoto Protocol" - the billionaire head of a multi-national corporation - tossing a globe of the world up into the air.
When I saw that picture the refrain from the song "He's got the whole world in His hands" flashed across my mind. Here's a sing-along version on You Tube.
That's exactly what these globalist elites are planning to do, have the whole world in THEIR hands.
Branson, Gore and other so-called "environmentalists" who pretend to care about the "environment" are blaming people, automobiles and modern-industry in the Western World for the earth's weather chaos, and bribing governments and scientists with millions of dollars to promote and implement their "global warming" theories - the results of which will destroy the economies of the democratic Western World and enrich the economies of the communist Eastern World. They purport to have scientific proof (they don't*) that the chaotic weather - "climate change" - the world's been experiencing these past several years is the result of "global warming" caused by human beings "emitting too much carbon dioxide" (in other words, "breathing out") into the "atmosphere". They call our emitted carbon dioxide "greenhouse gas".
These Greenhouse Gas Blowhards are not the kind of people whose hands we want our world to be in - neither figuratively nor literally. We need to pry their fingers off our globe. ~ Jackie Jura

British tycoon Sir Richard Branson yesterday announced a $32 million prize for the scientist who comes up with a way of extracting greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. The Virgin Group chairman was joined by former US vice-president Al Gore and other leading environmentalists as he announced the challenge to find the world's first viable method to capture and remove carbon dioxide from the air. A landmark report by the world's leading climate scientists and government officials, published in Paris last week, warned global warming would continue for centuries, creating a far different planet in 100 years. "Man created the problem, therefore Man should solve the problem," Sir Richard said. He compared the challenge with a competition launched in 1675 to devise a method of estimating longitude accurately. It was 60 years before an accurate method was discovered. "The earth cannot wait 60 years. We need everybody capable of discovering an answer to put their minds to it today," Sir Richard said. He said many remained sceptical about the reality of climate change. "The plot is often that no one believes the threat until it is almost too late and then the superhero steps in to save the day," he said. "Well, today we have a threat, we still have to convince many people that the threat is real. We have no superhero, we have only our ingenuity to fall back on." Mr Gore said the planet had a "fever" and the world had to listen to experts.
