Greetings Sherry,

You could probably borrow some of the books on my JFK list from the library. Some of them are now out of print so you can't buy them new (and that would cost alot) but with luck and perseverence you could find most of them in second-hand bookstores.

Yes, all the books are valuable, but not in a monetary sense. Their value lies in the information they contain. They are tangible proof of truth.

I own all the JFK books that I've listed on my webpage. Most of them I bought in second-hand bookstores over the past 20 years or so that I've been collecting JFK books. Whenever I travel to a town or city I go to second-hand bookstores to add to my collection. Another way I accumulate JFK books is to go to book sales that organizations put on to raise money and also I go to book sales that libraries put on once a year or so. It's amazing how many good books the libraries are discarding from their collections.

Another place you can get the books is on the internet. Just type in the title and author and see what pops up.

The book you're enquiring about - JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY...AS WE REMEMBER HIM, by the Kennedys - is a huge coffee-table book and one of my most prized. It contains letters, photos, essays, articles and personal anecdotes that have never been seen anywhere else. I got my copy in a second-hand bookstore. It was a high-school discard.

You can buy that book, second-hand, at Alibris at www.alibris.com

All the best,
Jackie Jura

PS - One of these days I'll put my JFK book list into better order (probably according to topic and publishing date)
