To Orwell Today, subject "Frawncay"

Guess what??? I''m not French, or French Canadian, or Acadian, or from Haiti, or French New Guinea. I spoke German as a child. An ugly language. So, now I put my daughter in French Immersion because I - 1) Love the language 2) My daughter loves the language 3) It's Canada's second language, and the same as "Indians" they're here to stay (and they were here first). I am so proud of French Canada! Thank you!

You sound anti-German to me, even though it sounds like maybe you lived in Germany at one time? But you seem to be pro-French now. So maybe you're a person who moved from Germany to Canada or descended from people who moved from Germany at one time for whatever reason. I don't know. Is this some sort of guessing game?
