To Orwell Today,

Hello Jackie,

First I would like to say that I finally have found some time to read your website. I find it quite fascinating.

I was wondering though why you have not spoken up yet about drug use in our society. As I sit here in Mexico typing this I can't help but be mad at our governments and what they are doing to the people of the world. Even here in Mexico we are meeting people who's children are being harmed by these powerful drugs that the government is putting on the streets, (ie, Crystal Meth), (Heroin) etc. Some of our friends down here in Mazatlan have had to put their children into rehabs, which down here is very expensive and not working. I am also touched by these drugs as I too had family that have had their lives taken away by the drugs.

I have done some research and found out that the U.S. government used to give Methamphetamines to the soldiers in WWII and that a German scientist was the first to make the drug. I am not sure if my findings are correct but maybe you can enlighten me as you have the skills to find these things out.

I feel it is killing our people all over the world and no one is saying anything about it much. Why are we letting this happen to us? There has to be a way to stop the insanity. My heart breaks every time I hear of another child in its grip. Is there no antidote to get these people better? No rehab seems to work.

Also if there is something in the website that I should be reading and have missed, please let me know.

Thanks Jackie for opening the eyes of the sheep,

Greetings Carrie,

Gracias for taking the time, while in Mexico, to read my website. In the old days people read books on the beach, now it's laptops.

I share your concern regarding the insanity of governments putting (by complicity) powerful drugs like crystal meth, heroin etc on the streets for their citizens to increasingly fall victim to. The powers-that-be who run the international drug trade make billions of dollars destroying people and nations. It's war BY drugs.

Actually, I've written quite extensively on the subject in the DRUG WAR & PEACE section of the website.

All the best,
Jackie Jura
