To Orwell Today,

You are officially the biggest idiot i have ever heard of....

"As soon as I read that sentence the song "American Pie" jumped into my head and it occurred to me that maybe what the song was about was the take-over of America by foreign elements. Upon finding and reading the lyrics my suspicion was more than confirmed. The lyrics appear to be about a satanic communist take-over of America after a nuclear explosion has destroyed the ecosystem."

That appeared in an artical you wrote about American Pie writtn by Don Mclean...i have no idea how you came up with that bullshit but the song is nothing about whatever the hell you were talking about.

This song is merely stating that rock music as we know it is dead because of the unfortunate deaths of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper in a plane crash...and guess what the plane was called...American Pie...so basically this song is a eulogy to these three great rock musicians and to music as we know it in the future.

Greetings Bobby,

Once you've calmed down long enough to think, instead of react, I suggest you re-read my American Pie article and you'll notice that I have underlined and bolded the pertinent passages relating to a Satanic Communist takeover of America.

Do the same thing to back up your idea that the song is about Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper in a plane crash.

Then I'll post it on the website and the readers can arrive at their own conclusions regarding the meaning behind the refrain America's been singing all these years.

All the best,
Jackie Jura

Reader believes what he was taught in school about "American Pie" but says it COULD be about communist holocaust
