In response to a letter from a reader saying he knows the whereabouts of JFK's missing prayer book I have posted the above photos.

To me it does look as though the small bible* that JFK is holding in his left hand COULD be the same small bible that LBJ is resting his left hand on. Readers, please click to enlarge the above two photos and then arrive at your own conclusions. ~ Jackie Jura

*According to Jim Bishop in his 1968 book THE DAY KENNEDY WAS SHOT it wasn't actually a bible, but a missal, which is a book containing prayers and other devotional matter for celebrating Roman Catholic Mass throughout the year.
